The Divine Union - Sita Ram

The echo of the bow has faded. Sita steps forward.

Imagine the royal court drawing a little closer, eager to witness what comes next. Ram stands before her, the challenge behind him. Between their hands, a garland becomes the focus of every watching eye.

There are ceremonies still to come, blessings to receive, a whole kingdom ready to celebrate. For now, the story belongs to this exchange.

In Myraasa’s “The Divine Union - Sita Ram,” the couple face one another beneath flowering vines, with companions beside them. Ram’s vivid blue and Sita’s golden warmth shine against dense green leaves. An elongated garland anchors the scene, surrounded by richly patterned garments in crimson, orange, yellow, and green.

Intricate Madhubani lines give the gathering its splendour, yet the central gesture remains clear and tender.

The moment feels both public and deeply personal: a promise made before many witnesses, understood most fully by two.

The garland rises. Their shared journey begins.
