Our story
Indian art,
thoughtfully curated.
Our story begins with a way of looking: art becomes more meaningful when we look beyond the surface and toward the stories we can share with care.

Not just what you see. What you come to know.
Our story begins with a way of looking. Myraasa brings Indian art together with context and care. Our opening collection centres on Madhubani paintings from Mithila. Line, pattern and colour draw us in; learning about a work’s maker, materials and setting—where details can be established—gives us more to discover.
We share context with care. We distinguish what is known from what we interpret, and leave space where information is not available. We believe handmade art should be understood on its own terms: variations in line and surface are part of a work’s character, not flaws to erase.
ART . STORIES. ORIGINS
The words beneath our name describe three parts of our approach: look closely at the artwork, share its stories with care, and understand the traditions and places that shape it. Together, they are an invitation to meet each painting with curiosity and attention.
The Living Line
Our logo begins with a deliberately uneven, hand-drawn M. We call it the Living Line: a single expressive stroke with a changing rhythm, not a perfectly symmetrical shape. We chose it because handmade art carries the character of a human hand. The gentle variations in a line are part of its voice, not flaws to erase.
For us, the line also suggests a path from what we see toward the origins and stories that deepen our understanding. A small terracotta dot sits above the olive stroke, adding warmth and a quiet point of colour.
Look closer, with care
Myraasa is a place to pause with Indian art, notice its details and stay open to what each work can tell us. Begin with our Madhubani collection, and take time to look at each painting in its own right.
