Ram Sita Vivah: Sacred Varmala

For one heartbeat, all of Mithila falls silent.

The music fades into the distance. The lamps flicker. And beneath the splendour of a royal wedding, Ram and Sita stand face to face, a garland held between them.

Before there is a kingdom to lead or a destiny to fulfil, there is this moment. A quiet recognition. A promise made without words: whatever lies ahead, we will meet it together.

In Myraasa’s “Ram Sita Vivah: Sacred Varmala,” that fleeting moment becomes a world of colour. Crimson surrounds Sita like a wedding song; blue drapes Ram in quiet grace. Intricate patterns fill the space around them, yet your eye returns to their hands, meeting at the garland.

Their story will travel through palaces and forests, through separation and homecoming. But this painting pauses before the journey begins, holding them at the threshold of a shared life.

A sacred beginning, brought into your home. A reminder that the grandest stories can begin with the simplest promise. I choose you.
